The Monograph Tour at GMS: Mullowney Project Film Premiere and Book Release

You’re invited to the premiere of a short film about the GMS/Mullowney Printing Co. collaboration as well as a celebration of our latest monograph book.

⏰ Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 6:30-8:00pm
🎬 Film Screening at 7:00pm
📍 GMS Gallery: 1335 NW Kearney St., Portland, OR

Join us for a powerful evening celebrating the spirit of collaboration as we reflect on the 15-month partnership between Gather:Make:Shelter and Mullowney Printing Co.

Throughout the evening, we’ll hear from GMS artists and GMS Founder, Dana Lynn Louis, about their experiences during the workshops, and view the recently finished short documentary film.

In addition, grab a copy of our latest monograph book, a beautiful visual record detailing the process, relationships, and finished work created during the Mullowney Printing Co. & GMS partnership.

Popcorn and cupcakes provided! 🍿

Both the film and the book celebrate the possibilities of creative collaboration and mentorship.

Film Production and Editing by Dante Korinto, Additional Editing by Jacob Pander. Monograph Book Designed and Edited by Brenda Bingham, Printed at MagCloud.

More Info About The Monograph Tour:

Over the last two years, we’ve been taking trips around Oregon for GMS artists to share their artwork and experiences around the region, opening up discussions around houselessness. The Mullowney Printing Co. Project Film release and monograph book celebration is the latest stop of the tour, right here in our own gallery!

The Monograph Tour serves as a dialogue that redefines the idea of home across Oregon and elsewhere.

Support for the Mullowney Project Collaboration comes from:

The Ford Family Foundation, Oregon Arts Commission, Oregon Cultural Trust, The Regional Arts & Culture Council and The Arts Access Fund, The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Killian Pacific, John Miller, The Undergrowth Educational Print Fund, with in-kind contributions from Gamblin Artists Colors, Hiromi Paper, Legion Paper, McClain’s Printmaking Supplies, Speedball Art, and Framing Resources.

The Monograph Tour is supported by funds from the Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
