Midsummer Night’s Dream Machine: a multimedia wearable art event in partnership with SoundsTruck NW

South Park Blocks (SW Park Avenue from Salmon Street to Jackson Street - exact location TBD)The Midsummer Night’s Dream Machine, hosted by GMS in collaboration with SoundsTruck NW (STNW), will harmonize live music, fashion, poetry and video to showcase GMS artists’ creative voices and contributions to the community.
STNW will provide curated musical accompaniment performed live by professional musicians all on a mobile stage!

Our first exhibition, ART FROM THE VILLAGES, will run December - January and features artists living in C(3)PO and Dignity villages. Artists will receive 100% of the sales of their work.

We are so excited to report that Gather:Make:Shelter has received a Light A Fire Award from Portland Monthly Magazine presented by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust! They have recognized Gather:Make:Shelter as the nonprofit “Doing the Most with the Least”.
