Our new show Dreamstates opens October 4! Dreamstates features work by GMS longtime artists as well as four new artists we are happy to welcome into the GMS community.
The Joy Project: Re-envisioning Portland with Love
On September 9, 2023, Gather:Make:Shelter will take over Pioneer Square with The Joy Project Festival!
The Andy Warhol Foundation For The Visual Arts awards Gather:Make:Shelter with a multi-year program support grant!
This grant will help Gather:Make:Shelter provide life-changing opportunities for our participants and empower more people to achieve a sense of well-being, form community and discover new paths to financial stability and permanent housing.

GMS Members to Receive Precipice Fund Award
We celebrate the achievements of Dana and Aileen, both of whom received a Precipice Fund award from The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts administered by PICA.
ART FROM THE VILLAGES Exhibition
Our first exhibition, ART FROM THE VILLAGES, will run December - January and features artists living in C(3)PO and Dignity villages. Artists will receive 100% of the sales of their work.
